Information you provide
Newsletter signup asks for an email address. The subscription process creates confirmation and unsubscribe tokens and records subscription status. Confirmation is required before the address is treated as subscribed.
If you contact us, your message may include your name, email address, correspondence and any attachments you choose to send. Supply only information relevant to your request; ordinary email is not a secure channel for confidential documents, credentials or financial account details.
Information needed to deliver the site
Hosting and delivery services process technical information involved in serving a page, such as IP addresses, request times, requested URLs, browser information and error logs. That information can be used to operate the site, diagnose failures and protect against abuse.
Public pages do not require a reader account. The current site code does not embed advertising pixels or Google Analytics. This does not mean that hosting and email services receive no technical information.
Newsletter and email
The newsletter integration uses Supabase for subscription records and Resend for confirmation email delivery. These services receive the information necessary for those functions, including the submitted email address. Messages sent to our editorial address are also handled by the email service used for that inbox.
Use the unsubscribe link supplied with subscription emails to stop the subscription. Unsubscribing is not a promise of immediate deletion of every record: delivery, suppression, security or correspondence records may still exist. You can request deletion separately by contacting us.
Other service providers and links
Vercel hosts the website and Sanity supplies publishing content and image assets. A browser request to a delivery service can disclose ordinary connection information to that service. Market data is retrieved server-side from DefiLlama and CoinGecko; following an external source link takes you to a separate site with its own privacy practices.
We use service providers to deliver these functions, not to give advertisers a reader contact list. We do not sell reader contact details. External websites, social networks and email applications control the information collected when you choose to use their services.
Cookies and local storage
The current public site does not use advertising cookies. Browser storage may retain interface choices, such as dismissing a newsletter prompt. Disabling browser storage can affect whether those choices persist. Administrative publishing tools have separate login and session requirements.
If optional tracking or other material data collection is introduced, this notice should be updated and any legally required consent obtained before that collection begins.
Purposes and retention
Information is handled to fulfil subscription requests, deliver the site, respond to correspondence and corrections, prevent abuse and meet applicable obligations. Where consent is the basis for newsletter delivery, you can withdraw it by unsubscribing.
Retention depends on the purpose and the systems involved. Subscription records are needed while a subscription is active; suppression records may be needed to respect an opt-out. Correspondence and technical records may be retained to resolve a request, investigate an incident or meet an applicable obligation. This notice does not promise a deletion period that has not been implemented.
Your choices and requests
Depending on the law applicable to you, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, or obtain a portable copy. Contact us with the email address involved and the request you want to make. Proportionate identity checks may be necessary before disclosing or changing a record.
You may also have a right to complain to your local data-protection authority. These rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law; this notice does not waive them.
Security, location and changes
No website or email service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send wallet keys or recovery phrases to this publication. Service providers may process information outside your country; applicable protections depend on the service arrangements and law involved.
